Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:
(a) whether any proposal has been received from the Government of Bihar for setting up of a 50- bedded AYUSH hospitals across seven districts including Gaya during the year 2026-27;
(b) if so, the current status thereof;
(c) the details and the current status of the financial assistance sanctioned, administrative approval, detailed Project Report (DPR), along with the tentative timeline for construction of the proposed 50-bedded AYUSH hospital in Gaya district of Bihar by the Government;
(d) whether any proposal to set up a 50-bedded AYUSH hospital, AYUSH Health and Wellness Centre or other AYUSH health infrastructure in Aurangabad district of Aurangabad Parliamentary Constituency under the National AYUSH Mission or any other scheme is under consideration, if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the details of the funds sanctioned and released by the Government for the development of AYUSH health infrastructure in Bihar, particularly in the Magadh region during the last three years and the current year, year-wise and district-wise? (a) Under National Ayush Mission (NAM), Ministry of Ayush has not received State Annual Action Plan (SAAP) for the year 2026-27 from State Government of Bihar till date.
(b) & (c) Question does not arise.
(d) Under NAM, as per the proposal received from State Government through SAAPs, 16 units of Ayush Health & Wellness Centres now renamed as Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) have been approved for operationalisation in Aurangabad district.
(e) Under NAM, an amount of Rs. 1383.343 Lakhs has been sanctioned/released to State Government as central share during the last three years for implementation of different activities of SAAPs in Bihar including Magadh region. The year-wise details of released amount is furnished at Annexure. However, under NAM, there is no provision for district-wise release of funds. Further, as far as current year is concerned, SAAP has not been received from State Government.
