Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:-
(a) whether the Government is aware that a robust mechanism is required for the effective monitoring of patients footfall, the quality of treatment and treatment outcomes in AYUSH hospitals and dispensaries in the Hisar Parliamentary Constituency of Haryana;
(b) if so, the details of the number of patients who received treatment, the number of doctors available, the major diseases treated and the evaluation of treatment outcomes in AYUSH hospitals and dispensaries in the Hisar Parliamentary Constituency during the last three years;
(c) whether any system for digital patient registration, monitoring of treatment outcomes, quality assessment and regular audit has been implemented by the Government in AYUSH institutes, if so, the details thereof; and
(d) whether the Government proposes to implement any new action plan to enhance the quality, transparency and public trust in AYUSH services as well as to strengthen AYUSH facilities in Hisar Parliamentary Constituency and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV)
(a) & (b) Public Health being State subject, the effective monitoring of patients footfall, the quality of treatment and treatment outcomes in Ayush hospitals and dispensaries in the Hisar Parliamentary Constituency of Haryana comes under the purview of respective State Government. However, Ministry is supporting the efforts of State Government through Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Ayush Mission (NAM) by providing financial assistance under different activities as per the provision of NAM guidelines for better access of Ayush healthcare services to the community.
Under NAM, there are third party review by NITI Aayog and also NABH assessment besides visit by the Central team in different States/UTs including Haryana to review the implementation progress of different activities/services being provided by Ayush facilities for holistic healthcare of the community.
1Recently a review has been undertaken during 29th June, 2026 to 1st July, 2026 with senior functionaries of States/UTs to assess the progress of infrastructure development, service delivery, human resources, digital integration, medicines supply and governance mechanisms under NAM. Earlier also these reviews were held during NAM Conclave on 1st & 2nd May, 2025 and during the Departmental Summit on โNational Ayush Mission and Capacity Building in Statesโ in the month of September, 2025.
As reported by State Government of Haryana, year-wise details of number of patients who received treatment, number of available doctors, and major diseases treated in Ayush Hospitals & Dispensaries under the Hisar Parliamentary Constituency during the last three years is furnished at Annexure.
(c) Ministry of Ayush, under the Ayush Grid initiative, has developed Ayush Hospital Management Information System (AHMIS) for adoption across Ayush facilities. AHMIS is compliant with the national digital health ecosystem under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission
(ABDM) and supports patient registration, standardized diagnostics, service delivery, and data management for monitoring and community wellness.
As reported by State of Haryana, Digital registration of patients are ongoing at Ayush Wing, Civil Hospital, Hisar and patient registration & treatment records are done through manual systems in other Ayush institutions. Treatment details are uploaded on Vridh Sewa Portal on every Thursday and OPD data is uploaded on Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) portal every month. Further, regular audit has been conducted by State Government and treatment outcomes are encouraging.
(d) Public Health being a State subject, the implementation of any new action plan to strengthen Ayush facilities and enhance the quality, transparency, and public trust in Ayush services, including in the Hisar Parliamentary Constituency, comes under the purview of the State Government of Haryana.
As reported by State Government of Haryana, new Ayurvedic Medical Officers are appointed and regular Health camps are being organized in Hisar Constituency.
