GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF AYUSH LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 2158 TO BE ANSWERED ON 31.07.2026 AYUSH Wellness Centres under NAM

2158. Shri Shahu Shahaji Chhatrapati:

Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:

(a) the details of the AYUSH wellness centres established under the National AYUSH Mission across the country, State/UT-wise;

(b) the details of the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani dispensaries currently operational in this regard;

(c) the details of the herbal garden development and medicinal plant cultivation in this regard;and

(d) the total number of AYUSH treatment beneficiaries registered under the National AYUSH Mission? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV)

(a) & (b) Under National Ayush Mission (NAM), as per the proposals submitted by State/UT Governments through State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs), Ministry of Ayush has approved operationalization of 12500 units of Ayush Health and Wellness Centres now renamed as Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) [AAM (Ayush)] by upgrading existing Ayush dispensaries and Sub health Centres across the country. The State/UT-wise and stream-wise list of operational AAM (Ayush) including Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani dispensaries is furnished at Annexure.

(c) As per the provision of exiting guidelines, the State/UT Governments have been supported for establishment of herbal garden in the premises of AAM (Ayush) or with in available place in catchment areas. An indicative list of herbal plants for AAM (Ayush) is readily available in the Ayush Health and Wellness Centres Operational Guidelines. (details are available on:

(d) Under NAM, as reported by the State/UT Governments, a total of 46,59,98,878 beneficiaries were benefitted through AAM (Ayush) during the five-year period from 2021 to
