Parliament Question: Funding for Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Rajasthan

Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate:

(a) the current ratio of funding between the Central and State Governments under the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojanaoperational inthe Stateof Rajasthan;

(b) the categories of families covered under the said scheme and the maximum amount upto which cashless medicalfacilities are beingprovidedtoeacheligible family;

(c) the total number of beneficiaries or families registered under the said scheme in the State so far, along with the details of the annual expenditure borne by the Central and State Governmentson the said scheme, year-wise; and

(d) whether the Union Government provides or is considering any proposal to provide a Central premium contribution in accordance with the actual insurance premium rate for all categories of beneficiaries, including SECC-2011 families, under the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, if so, the details thereof and the timeline by which it is likely to be implemented,and if not,the reasons therefor? (a) to (d): Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana (MAAY) is the scheme of the State GovernmentofRajasthanandisimplementedfromtheirownbudget.

Under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), a total of 66.37 lakh families in the state of Rajasthan are eligible for health insurance coverage of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year. In addition, 1.73 lakh ASHA, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs), and23.55lakhsenior citizensaged70 yearsandabove,are also coveredundertheschemeintheStateofRajasthan.

Further, under AB-PMJAY, the Central Government provides financial support based on a fixed premium ceiling of Rs. 1,052 per eligible family per annum. The cost of the scheme is sharedbetweentheCentralandRajasthanGovernmentintheratioof60:40.Ason31.07.2026,atotalofRs.2563.15crorehasbeenreleasedascentralsharetothe Stateof Rajasthan for implementation of AB-PMJAY.
