ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV)
(a) & (b) Public Health being State subject, integrating Ayush systems with the modern healthcare system (Allopathy) across the country and establishing 'AYUSH Wings' in district and block level hospitals comes under the purview of respective State/UT Governments. However, Government of India has adopted a strategy of Co-location of Ayush facilities at Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs) and District Hospitals (DHs), thus enabling the choice to the patients for different systems of medicines under a single window. The engagement of Ayush doctors/ paramedics and their training is supported by the MoH&FW under National Health Mission (NHM), while the support for Ayush infrastructure, equipment/furniture and medicines are provided by the Ministry of Ayush under National Ayush Mission (NAM) as shared responsibilities. State/UT-wise details of number of hospitals where Ayush services are co-located across the country is furnished at Annexure.
(c) No. The detail of export of Ayush products and services from Rajasthan is being maintained by respective State Government and no such data is available with Ministry.
1(d) Under NAM scheme, there is no provision for cultivating medicinal plants. However, as per the proposals received from State Government of Rajasthan, 2019 Ayushman Arogya Mandir
(Ayush) [AAM (Ayush)] has been supported in Rajasthan for operationalisation and providing holistic health care services to the Community through different interventions. Further, AAM
(Ayush) is having a provision for establishing Herbal Garden in the facility to provide awareness about its importance and uses in common ailments to the Community. ***** 2Annexure State/UT-wise details of number of hospitals where Ayush services are co-located across the country (As per MIS-NHM 31.12.2025) Sl.
