Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:
(a) the details of AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres, Integrated AYUSH Hospitals and dispensaries established or upgraded under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM) in Eastern Uttar Pradesh during the last three years, district-wise;
(b) the details of the funds allocated, released and utilised under the Mission in the region;
(c) the details of AYUSH medical officers and paramedical personnel recruited or deployed under the Mission; and
(d) the current status of the projects sanctioned under NAM in Eastern Uttar Pradesh? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV)
(a) & (b) Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Ayush Mission (NAM), as per the proposals received from State Government of Uttar Pradesh through State Annual Action Plans
(SAAPs), 443 Ayush Health and Wellness Centres now renamed as Ayushman Arogya Mandir
(Ayush) [AAM(Ayush)], 4 Integrated Ayush Hospitals and 97 Ayush Dispensaries have been approved in eastern Uttar Pradesh during the last three years. The district-wise number of units approved is furnished at Annexure-I. As per proposals received from State Government of Uttar Pradesh through SAAPs under NAM, an amount of Rs. 28736.415 lakhs has been allocated/released to Uttar Pradesh from 2023-24 to 2025-26 for implementation of different approved activities in the State and as reported by State Government, an amount of Rs. 2661.383 lakhs has been utilized in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Under NAM, consolidated funds are being released to State Government and there is no provision of district-wise release of funds.
(c) Under NAM, as reported by State Government of Uttar Pradesh, 55 Ayush medical officers in Integrated Ayush Hospitals and 937 paramedical personnel in Integrated Ayush Hospitals, AAM (Ayush) and Yoga Wellness Centres have been recruited/deployed.
