Posted On: 09 SEP 2026 10:46AM by PIB Delhi The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting that wisdom teaches the art of living in harmony with society. He said that knowledge imparts wisdom and prosperity, fills the heart with joy and enhances one’s dignity.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam- “उपदशत लोकवृत्त ंवतरत वत्त ंवनोदयत चत्तम्। उत्तम्भयत महं वा हृा सुराजसेवेव॥” The Subhashitam conveys that wisdom teaches the art of living in harmony with society. It grants knowledge and prosperity, fills the heart with joy, and raises one's dignity. Thus, wisdom is as precious as service to righteous governance, beloved by the heart, and a force that uplifts life.
