Whereas The draft of the following rules to amend the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Medical Officers and Other Staff) Rules, 2025. which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Medical Officers and Other Staff) Act, 2011 (Karnataka Act 2 of 2011)

was published in Notification No: HFW 156 HSH 2025 Dated:06.06.2025 was published in Karnataka Gazette extra ordinary No. 342 Dated: 06.06.2025 as required by sub section (1) of section 12 of the said Act inviting objections or suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby givenR.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 3 that the said draft will taken into consideration after Five days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Whereas said Gazette was made available to the public on 06.06.2025.

And whereas objections or suggestions received by the state Government have been considered.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Medical Officers and Other Staff) Act, 2011 (Karnataka Act 2 of 2011) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely: - RULES

1. Title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Medical Officers and Other Staff) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2) These rules shall come into force from the 27th May, 2025.

2. Amendment of rule 6.- In Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Medical Officers and Other Staff) Rules, 2025. (here in after referred to as the said rules), in rule 6 in sub rule (2) the proviso shall be omitted.

3. Amendment of rule 9.- In rule 9 of the said rules, in sub rule (1),-

(a) For the words “classified as zone A”, the words “classified as Greater Bengaluru Area, zone A excluding Greater Bengaluru Area” shall be substituted.
