NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th March, 2023 F. No. RA-14026(11)/3/2019-CERC.—Whereas the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2022 were published in Part-III, Section 4, No. 85 of the Gazette of India Extraordinary on

12.02.2022.

Whereas, Clause (2) of Regulation 1 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Ancillary Services) Regulations provides that the Regulations shall come into force with effect from such date as may be notified by the Commission.

Whereas,the Notification for commencement of the provisions under Regulation 6, Regulations 14 to 19, provisions pertaining to Regulations 20 to 22, and Regulations 26 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2022 were published in Part-III, Section 4, No. 100 of the Gazette of India Extraordinary on 21.02.2023.

And, now, therefore, in supersession of the aforesaid Notification published in Part-III, Section 4, No.100 of the Gazette of India Extraordinary on 21.02.2023, it is hereby notified that the following provisions of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2022 shall come into force from 01.05.2023: - i. Provisions pertaining to TRAS under Regulation 6;

ii. Regulations 14 to 19; iii. Provisions pertaining to TRAS in Regulations 20 to 22 iv. Regulations 26.

And, it is further notified that with the coming into force of Regulations 26, the Detailed Procedures issued under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2015 shall cease to be in operation from 01.05.2023.
