Agharkar Research Institute (ARI), Pune, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and an address by the Chief Guest, Dr. Shekhar Mande, President, Maharashtra Association for Cultivation of Science and Chairman, Institute Council, ARI.
On the occasion, children of ARI employees who excelled in Classes X and XII and ARI employees who successfully cleared the Hindi Language Proficiency Examination were felicitated in recognition of their achievements.
