और, केन्द्रीर् सरकार ने इस संबंध में समर्-समर् पर प्राजधकरण के सिस्ट्र्ों की जनर्ुजक्त करने के जलए जवजभन्न अजधसूचनाएं िारी की ह;ैं अतः, अब केन्द्रीर् सरकार, िैव जवजवधता अजधजनर्म, 2002 (2003 का 18) की धारा 8 की उपधारा (4) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तर्ों का प्रर्ोग करत े हुए, 6 जसतम्बर, 2026 स े राष्ट्रीर् िैव जवजवधता प्राजधकरण म ें जनम्नजलजखत सिस्ट्र्ों की जनर्ुजक्त करती ह ै और इस प्रर्ोिन के जलए भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्ाावरण और वन मंत्रालर् की अजधसूचना संख्र्ा का.आ.1147(अ), तारीख 1 अक्तूबर, 2003 म ेंजनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती ह ै, अथाात:्- 6187 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]

1. उक्त अजधसूचना म,ें उपिीर्ाक "धारा 8 की उपधारा (4) के खंड (घ) के अधीन गैर-सरकारी सिस्ट्र्" के अधीन, क्रम संख्र्ा (18) स े (22) तथा उनसे संबंजधत प्रजवजिर्ों के स्ट्थान पर, जनम्नजलजखत क्रम संख्र्ा और प्रजवजिर्ा ं रखी िाएंगी, अथाात:् - “(18) डॉ. आदित्र् कुमार िोिी ( 05.09.2029 तक )

(19) डॉ. हजं चनाल आर. रामप्पा ( 05.09.2029 तक )

(20) डॉ. गौरी िोिी ( 05.09.2029 तक )

(21) डॉ. िर्ा प्रकाि र्ािव ( 05.09.2029 तक )

(22) श्री चेरुकुरु वेंकटेश्वर प्रसाि ( 05.09.2029 तक )”।

2. सिस्ट्र्ों की पिावजध इस अजधसूचना के पैरा 1 म ेंउनके नामों के सम्मुख उपिर्शित अवजध के जलए होगी । [फा. स.ं ि-े 22018/46/2003- सीएससी ( बीसी) खंड-III] तरुण कुमार कथुला, वैज्ञाजनक 'िी' रटप्पण - मूल अजधसूचना भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) म ें अजधसूचना संख्र्ा का.आ. 1147 (अ), तारीख 1 अक्टूबर, 2003 द्वारा प्रकाजित की गई थी और तत्पश्चात अजधसूचना संख्र्ा का.आ. 497 (अ), तारीख 15 अप्रैल, 2004; का.आ. 262 (अ), तारीख 22 फरवरी , 2007; का.आ.389 (अ), तारीख 15 फरवरी, 2010; का.आ. 3299 (अ), तारीख 31 अक्तूबर , 2013; का.आ. 1351 (अ), तारीख 7 अप्रैल, 2016; का.आ. 897 (अ), तारीख 21 माच ा , 2017; का.आ. 1850 (अ), तारीख 11 िून , 2020;

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th August, 2026 S.O. 4441(E).— WHEREAS the Central Government established the National Biodiversity Authority under sub-sections (1) and (4) of section 8 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003) vide notification number S.O. 1147(E), dated the 1 st October, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii);

AND WHEREAS the Central Government has issued various notification in this regard to appoint the members of the Authority from time to time;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 8 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the following members to the National Biodiversity Authority with effect from 06th September, 2026 and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests vide number S.O. 1147 (E), dated the 1st October, 2003, namely:–[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3

1. In the said notification, under the sub-heading, "Non-official members under clause (d) of sub-section (4) of

section 8", for the serial numbers (18) to (22) and entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:– “(18) Dr. Aditya Kumar Joshi (upto 05.09.2029)

(19) Dr. Hanchinal R. Ramappa (upto 05.09.2029)

(20) Dr. Gouri Joshi (upto 05.09.2029)

(21) Dr. Jaya Parkash Yadav (upto 05.09.2029)

(22) Shri Cherukuru Venkateswara Prasad (upto 05.09.2029)”.

2. The term of office of the members shall be for a period indicated against their names under paragraph 1 of this
