NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 23rd July, 2026 F. No. DH&FW/107/2026-COUN-HFW/169210.— Whereas, it is considered necessary to facilitate mobility of qualified pharmacists and to ensure ease of registration for pharmacists already registered with other State Pharmacy Councils in India;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 read with section 32 of the Pharmacy Act,1948(8 of 1948), the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby provides that any person who is registered as a pharmacist with any State Pharmacy Council established under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 and who resides or carries on the business or profession of pharmacy in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, shall be eligible to have their name entered in the Register of Pharmacists maintained by the Delhi Pharmacy Council in accordance with the provisions of section 32 of the said Act.

Provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any rule, regulation, order, guideline, instruction or practice for the time being in force, no applicant seeking registration under section 32 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 shall be required to furnish any other document, certificate or No Objection Certificate other than those required under the said Act.
