GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS Variation to the Approved Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Development Area 2026 of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority for Chennai Metropolitan Area T. Nagar Village, Chennai District (Letter No. R2/0111/2025-1) No.VI(1)/308/2026.
In exercise of the powers delegated by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.Ms.No.419, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 1st June 1984 Under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under sub-section (3) of section 33 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) to the Kannadasan Nagar Area D.D.P. approved in G.O.Ms.No. 693, Housing and Urban Development Department dated. 20.05.1986 and published as Notification in Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
Variation In the said D.D.P. in Clause 2a, 3(xi) and 9(d) after expression ‘Map No. 4 D.D.P / M.M.D.A. No.1/85’, the expression “and Map P.P.D. / D.D.P (V) No.
83/2026” shall be added.

In Column No. (1) under the heading “PRIMARY RESIDENTIAL” and under the sub-heading “Block No. 142 from the 'whole of R.S.No.', "6601/1 and 6602/1", shall be deleted. Further, in column No. (3), an extent of 0.06.69 Ha shall also be deducted from the total extent.

Ms. No.419, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 1st June 1984 under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under Sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in G.O.(Ms) No.190 Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008 and published as per G.O.(Ms) No.191, Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008 as Housing and Urban Development Department Notification in No.266 Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 2nd September 2008.
Variation
In the said Second Master Plan land use map for the Kunrathur Village the following expression shall be added: - “Map P.P.D. / M.P II (V) No. 36/2026
to be read with Map No: MP-II/CMA (TP) 27-F/ 2008” Explanatory Note (This is not part of variation. It intends to bring out the purport) Survey Nos. 1330B/1B1, 1B2 and 1330B/1C1 of Kunrathur Village, Kunrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Kunrathur Municipal limit Classified as "Primary Residential Use Zone" is now reclassified as “Industrial Use Zone”
subject to the following conditions: i. The remarks of WRD to be complied while taking up the development at the site under reference. ii. Necessary clearance from TNPCB to be obtained while taking up development at the site under reference.

Phase-I, Comprised in Survey No. 227/17 (Old S.No. 227/5A) of Nolambur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District, Greater Chennai Corporation Limit classified as “Mixed Residential Use Zone” is now reclassified as “Commercial Use Zone”.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 24 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) the Government in their G.O.No.(2ப) No. 180, Housing and Urban Development (நவ4(நிபமா) Department, dated 14.03.2026 has been permitted change of land use of certain survey numbers making the following variation to the consented Master Plan for the Thoothukudi Local Planning Area under the said Act vide G.O.Ms.No.71, Housing and Urban Development (UD4(2)) Department dated 10.02.2000 and published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.35, Part VI—Section 1 page No. 383 Notifications No. VI(1)/487/2000 dated 6th September 2000.
Variations In the said Consented Tuticorin Masterplan in the Annexure-IV Land use schedule Sl.No.17, Village No. 29, Mullakadu Village under the heading COASTAL REGULATION ZONE, Survey No. 270 to 280 replaced by 273 part (except 273/3) and Survey No. 404 to 444 replaced by 417 part, 418 part, 419 part, 423 part, 424 part, 429 part 430 part (except 417/1A, 418/5A, 419/4, 423/3, 424/1, 429/1, 430/1) In the Land use Schedule Sl.No.17, Village No. 29, Mullakadu Village. Newly added in III(b) Special Hazardous use zone under the above Heading Survey No. 273/3,417/1A,418/5A, 419/4, 423/3, 424/1, 429/1, 430/1) Shall be added.

In exercise of power conferred under sub-section (4) of the Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94 Housing and Urban Development (4-1) Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2 dated 15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2D) No.83, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 24.02.2026, subject to conditions the following variation are made to the approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said act and published in the G.O.Ms.No. 103, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] dated 04.07.2025,
Notification No. II(2)/HOU/582(m)/2025 at Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 07.07.2025.
Variation In the said Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Karunsamikavundampalayam Village, the following entries should be made.
Under the heading “Residential land use zone” the expression SF Nos. 140/2B1A, 159/1B1, 159/1B2 shall be added before the SF No. 159pt.
Under the heading “Agricultural land use zone” the expression SF No: 36 Shall be deleted and the expression SF.No.159pt (Except 159/1B1, 159/1B2) shall be substituted.

In exercise of power conferred under sub-section (4) of the Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94 Housing and Urban Development (4-1) Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2 dated 15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2D)No.71, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 18.02.2026, subject to conditions the following variation are made to the approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said act and published in the G.O.Ms.No. 103, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] dated 04.07.2025, Notification No. II(2)/HOU/582(m)/2025 at Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 07.07.2025.
Variation In the said Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Perur Taluk, Pooluvampatti Village, the following entries should be made.
Under the heading “Residential land use zone” the expression SF Nos. 571/2, 571/3, shall be added after the SF No. 566pt.
Under the heading “Agricultural land use zone” the expression SF No: 571 Shall be deleted and the expression SF.No.571pt (Except 571/2, 571/3) shall be substituted.

JUDICIAL NOTIFICATIONS
Notification of Court of Small Causes, Chennai for Summer Vacation - 2026 (Dis No.244/2026) No.VI(1)/314/2026.
The Presidency Court of Small Causes, Chennai will remain closed for the Summer Vacation of 2026 from
01.05.2026 to 31.05.2026. During Summer vacation the First turn will be from 01.05.2026 to 17.05.2026 and the Second turn of the vacation will be from 18.05.2026 to 31.05.2026.
The Office of the Court of Small Causes, Chennai will function from Monday to Wednesday and Friday every week from 10 a.m to 4.30 p.m and on Thursday (i.e) court sitting day, from 10 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. during the Summer Vacation 2026.
Tmt. V. GEETHA, Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai will be the Vacation Judge for First turn from 01.05.2026 to 17.05.2026.
Tmt. R. YUGESH, Judge, Court of small Causes, Chennai will be the Vacation Judge for Second turn from
18.05.2026 to 31.05.2026.
Tmt. B. DIVYA DHAYANAND, Registrar, Court of Small Causes, Chennai will be the Vacation Officer for Vacation period from 01.05.2026 to 31.05.2026.
The Filing Section will be functioning on every Wednesdays and the sitting of the Judge will be on every Thursday during the Summer Vacation 2026. The Vacation Judge unless otherwise notified will sit on Thursday of every week during the Summer Vacation, to dispose the emergent petitions. No fresh plaint petition, no Rent Control Appeals or other matters will be received during the period of vacation, unless it is urgent and it is accompanied by an application duly supported by an Affidavit showing the urgency.
The Copyist Section will function during Summer Vacation period from 10.30 a.m to 3.00 p.m for the purpose of receiving copy applications and also for delivering the certified copies which were already made ready. Further no fresh certified copy will be made ready during summer vacation.252 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part VI—Sec. 1 The Nazir Section will function during Summer Vacation and Process Applications will be received between 10.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on Wednesday. Warrants will be issued only on Wednesdays and Thursdays of the respective weeks, which were already filed and made ready. Warrants which are being filed on Wednesday will be made ready and it will be issued only on the next day (i.e) Thursday. If the Warrants returned for reasons, (i.e. since Police protection not available), the same will be re-issued only on next Wednesday or Thursday, if the Petitioner/Decree holder wants to execute the Warrent and makes such endoresement.
The Office of the Registrar will be kept open during Summer Vacation but the urgent matters will be received on Wednesdays during the vacation and such matters will be posted before the Vacation Judges for the hearing on the succeeding Thursday in the open court.
Payments will be received in the Treasury Section on Wednesdays and Thursdays of every week and payment will be paid from 04.05.2026 to 15.05.2026 during the Vacation, when the Vacation Judge is holding courts and on orders made by the vacation Judge for such payments.
