NOTIFICATION

Whereas Government of Karnataka is satisfied that in public interest or in the interest of public order, it is necessary or expedient so to do, to prohibit strike in following essential service of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation.

In this concern, Notification No.TD 297 TCO 2025, dated:23.12.2025 had been issued with effect from 01.01.2026 up to 30.06.2026.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section 3 of the Karnataka Essential Services Maintenance(Amendment) Act, 2025 (Karnataka Act No.58 of 2025) Government of Karnataka prohibits strike in following Essential Services in the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation with effect from 01.07.2026 upto 31.12.2026.
