NOTIFICATION Bengaluru, the 10th June, 2019 No. HRW:IRS:124 (C):SJ:2542:2018 dated 09.05.2018.—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 19 of the Banking Companies [Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings] Act, 1970 [5 of 1970] the Board of Directors of Canara Bank in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following Regulations, further to amend the Canara Bank Officer Employees’ [Discipline & Appeal] Regulations, 1976, namely,

1. These Regulations may be called the Canara Bank Officer Employees’ [Discipline & Appeal] Amendment Regulations, 2016.

2. These Regulations shall come into effect from 01.01.2015.¹Hkkx IIIµ[k.M 4º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3

3. In the Canara Bank Officer Employees’ [Discipline & Appeal] Regulations, 1976 for the existing schedule, the

following Schedule shall be substituted namely:

Disciplinary Authority Appellate Authority Reviewing Authority Scale-I to III Assistant General Manager or in Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Head Office his absence Deputy General Head Office or in his absence General or in case he is functioning as Manager Manager, Head Office. Appellate Authority, the Executive Director.

In cases where the Deputy General Manager is the Disciplinary Authority, the Appeal shall lie to the General Manager, Head Office.

Scale IV & V General Manager Executive Director or in his absence Managing Director & CEO Managing Director & CEO or in case he is functioning as Appellate Authority, the Committee of the Board Scale VI Executive Director or in his Managing Director & CEO or in his Board absence Managing Director & absence or in case he is functioning as DA, CEO Committee of the Board.
