In terms of the provisions of Section 80 (3) of the Electricity Act, 2003, the Chairperson, CERC shall be the ex- officio Chairperson of the CAC and Members of the CERC and Secretary to the Government of India in charge of the Ministry of Department of the Central Government dealing with Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution System shall be the ex- officio Members of the CAC.

3. This notification shall be effective from the date of issue.
