3161. SHRI RADHAKRISHNA:
Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state:
(a) whether any Common Facility Centre or cluster-development grant has been sanctioned for the dal/tur-processing units in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka under any Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) cluster scheme and, if so, the details thereof;
(b) the funds allocated, sanctioned, released and utilised for such Centre;
(c) the number of MSME dal-milling units in Kalaburagi registered under Udyam and the details of their reported turnover growth since the Centre's establishment, if any; and
(d) whether any proposal is under consideration by the Government, if no, such Centre has been sanctioned and if so, the details thereof, keeping in view Kalaburagi's standing/position as a major tur-processing hub? (a), (b) & (d): The Micro and Small Enterprises-Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) scheme is demand-driven central sector scheme for enhancing the productivity and competitiveness of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) through establishment of Common Facility Centres (CFCs) and creation/upgradation of infrastructure. Proposals recommended by State Governments are considered for assistance as per the extant guidelines of the scheme.
No proposal has been received for the dal/tur-processing units in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka under MSE-CDP from State Government/Implementing Agency in this regard.
(c): Total MSMEs registered and Turnover reported on Udyam (since 01/07/2020 to 31/07/2026) in Kalaburagi District of Karnataka for Dal/Pulses milling is as under:
