(a) to (d) As announced in the Union Budget 2025–26, Day Care Cancer Centres (DCCCs) were envisaged tobe established in District Hospitals across the countryinthree yearsperiod.
As reportedbythe States/UTs, 524Day Care CancerCentres(DCCCs) are functionalacross the country.
The State-wise details are at Annexure-I.
In Andhra Pradesh, approval was accorded for establishment of 14 DCCCs during FY 2025-26. An amountof ₹2.40 crore is allowedfor the initial setup of eachDCCC, and ₹1.49 crore peryearis allowed from the second yearonwards. Thetotalnumberof functionalDCCCs inAndhraPradeshis23.
The requirementof DCCCs isassessed bythe States/UTsthrough gapanalysis andreflectedinproposals submitted under the Programme Implementation Plan (PIP) of the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NP-NCD).
