Parliament Question: SDG in Tripura State

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF PLANNING LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1810 TO BE ANSWERED ON 30.07.2025 SDG IN TRIPURA STATE

1810. SHRI BIPLAB KUMAR DEB: `Will the Minister of PLANNING be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Country's overall Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) score on eliminating poverty, providing decent work, economic growth, improving education, healthcare and other parameters has improved in recent years; and

(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise with particular reference to the State of Tripura? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION; MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE (RAO INDERJIT SINGH)

(a) As per the SDG India Index 2023-24, India’s overall SDG score has improved from 66 in 2020-21 to 71 in 2023-24. There has been improvement in the parameters of poverty, decent work and economic growth, quality education, healthcare, and other related parameters in recent years. The scores for respective SDGs reflecting these parameters are as follows:
