NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 10th December, 2025 GUJARAT ELECTRICITY INDUSTRY (REORGANIZATION AND REGULATION) ACT, 2003.

No. GHE/2025/138/EPCD/AOC/efile/20/2025/0466(PF-2)/K:- WHEREAS the Government of Gujarat constituted a Selection Committee for recommending suitable names for appointment on the post of Member of the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission under Notification No.GE-2025-35-EPCD-AOC-e-file-20-2025-0466-K dated 06.06.2025, IV-B Ex.-563 563-1563-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 10-12-2025 [ PART IV-B

AND WHEREAS the Selection Committee has recommended a panel of two names for the consideration of the State Government, in accordance with section 85(4) of the Electricity Act, 2003,

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section 6 of the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganization and Regulation) Act, 2003, read with the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 in this regard, the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints Shri Hiren Navinchandra Shah as Member of the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission, from the date, he resumes the office.
