1. संि(cid:26)Xत नाम और (cid:10)ारंभ :-(1) इन िविनयम& का सिं (cid:26)Xत नाम ऊजा(cid:21) द(cid:26)ता ब य् ूरो (स(cid:6)े फ बाला! टेड एलईडी लैV प& के लेबल& पर उनके (cid:10)दश(cid:21)न का िववरण और रीित), सशं ोधन िविनयमन, 2018 ह।ै

2. ऊजा(cid:21) द(cid:26)ता (cid:27)यूरो (से(cid:6)फ बाला!ट ेड एलईडी लVै प & के लबे ल& पर उनके (cid:10)दशन(cid:21) का िववरण और रीित) िविनयम, 2017 (िजUह <इसके प[च ात् उG त िव िनयम कहा गया),- िविनयम 2 म<,

(i) खंड (ख) के !थ ान पर, िन\िलिखत खंड& को रखा जाएगा, अथा(cid:21)त ्:- '(ख) "छोटे मॉडल" स ेमलू मॉडल को छोड़कर, सभी मॉडल या पNरवार के अंदर के मॉडल अिभ(cid:10)ेत ह ै; (खक) ''मॉडल& के पNरवार'' से एक अिभिहत समूह, (cid:6) यूमने र<ज, सीसीटी और !टार रे_टंग ब$ड के अंदर एक पNरवार ह ै और िविनमा(cid:21)ता Qारा ऐसा घोिषत एक मलू मॉडल और छोटे मॉडल या मॉडल शािमल ह,$ अिभ(cid:10)ते ह;ै

(ii) खंड (च) के प[च ात, िन\िलिखत खंड अU त:!थ ािपत (cid:4)कया जाएगा, अथात(cid:21) ्:- '(छ) ''मूल मॉडल'' म< पNरवार से, िविनमा(cid:21)ता Qारा ''मूल मॉडल'' के (cid:12)प म < घोिषत उaतम रेटेड वॉट (cid:26)मता वाल ेएलईडी लैVप अिभ(cid:10)ेत ह'ै;

3. उGत िविनयम& के िविनयम (6) म< उप-िविनयम (3) के प[ चात, िन\िलिखत उप-िविनयम अUत :! थािपत (cid:4)कया जाएगा, अथा(cid:21)त:्- '' (4) मॉडल& के पNरवार के अधीन एक मॉडल के रिज! bीकरण के (cid:10)योजन के िलए यह सिु निcत (cid:4)कया जाएगा (cid:4)क िवdतु मं@ालय क9 अिधसूचना स.ं का.आ. 4097 (अ) ऊजा (cid:21) सरं (cid:26)ण अिधिनयम, 2001 क9 धारा 14 के खंड (क) के अधीन जारी भारत सरकार, िवdुत मं@ालय क9 अिधसूचना सं. का.आ्.

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st February, 2019 No. BEE/S&L/LED/52/2018-19.—Whereas the draft amendment regulations namely, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Self-ballasted LED Lamps) Regulations, 2018, were published vide notification number BEE/S&L/LED/52/2018-19, dated the 13th December, 2018, as required under sub-

section (1) of section 58 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), inviting objections or suggestions from persons likely to be affected thereby within the period of forty-five days from the date on which copies of Official Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public;¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3

And whereas copies of the said Official Gazette were made available to the public on the 13th December, 2018;

And whereas suggestions received in this regard have been taken into consideration;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 14 read with clause (i) of sub-

section (2) of section 58 and clause (n) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the said Act and in amendment of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Self-ballasted LED Lamps) Regulations, 2017, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such amendment, the Bureau, with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations, namely:-

3. Short title and commencement.- (1) These regulations may be called the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Self-ballasted LED lamps), Amendment Regulations,

2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.

4. In the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manners of their Display on Labels of Self-ballasted LED lamps) Regulations, 2017 (herein after referred to as the said regulations,- in regulation 2,

(ii) for clause (b), the following clauses shall be substituted, namely:- ‘(b) “child model” means all model or models under a family, except the parent model;

(ba) “family of models” means a family within a designated group, lumen range, CCT and star rating band and consist of a parent model and child model or models declared as such by the manufacturer;’;

(ii) after clause (f), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- ‘(g) “parent model” in a family means , the LED lamp with highest rated wattage declared as a parent model by the manufacturer;’;

3. In regulation (6) of the said regulations, after sub-regulation (3), the following sub-regulation shall be inserted, namely:- “(4) For the purpose of registration of a model under family of models, it shall be ensured that it complies with the provisions of the notification of the Government of India in Ministry of Power number S.O. 4097
