1. सजं क्षि िीिकव एि ंप्रारंभ:—

(1) इन जनयमों को दिल्ली जिद्यालय जिक्षा (सिं ोधन) जनयमािली, 2026 कहा िाए।

(2) ये आजधकाठरक रािपत्र म ेंअपने अंजतम प्रकािन की जतजथ से लाग ूहोंगे।

2. जनयम 44 म ेंसिं ोधन :— दिल्ली जिद्यालय जिक्षा जनयमािली, 1973 के जनयम 44 के उप-जनयम (3) का जिलोप दकया िाएगा।

3. जनयम 50 म ेंसिं ोधन :— दिल्ली जिद्यालय जिक्षा जनयमािली, 1973 के जनयम 50 के खडं (ii) का जिलोप दकया िाएगा। राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल के आिेि से तथा उनके नाम पर, डॉ. दिलराि कौर, प्रधान सजचि (जिक्षा) DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION

NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 10th August, 2026 F. No. DOE-A2/117/2026-PSB-EDUCATION DIRECTORATE-Part(1)/5414.— The following draft rules further to amend the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973, which the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 28 read with clause (a) of section 2 of the Delhi School Education Act, 1973 (18 of 1973), proposes to make, with the previous approval of the Central Government, are hereby published for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby;

And whereas notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be taken into consideration, after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, and after obtaining the approval of the Central Government;

Now, therefore, any person desirous of making any objection or suggestion in respect of the said draft rules may forward the same to the Pr. Secretary (Education), Directorate of Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Old Secretariat, Delhi–110054, or through email at ddeact1@gmail.com, before the expiry of the said period.

Objections or suggestions which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft rules

before the expiry of the aforesaid period shall be duly considered:.[PART IV DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 3 DRAFT RULES

1. Short title and commencement.—

(1) These rules may be called the Delhi School Education (Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 44.— In the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973, in rule 44, sub-rule (3) shall be omitted.

3. Amendment of rule 50.— In the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973, in rule 50, clause (ii) shall be omitted.
