NOTIFICATION The draft of the following rules to amend the Karnataka Compulsory Service by candidates completed Medical Courses (Counselling, allotment and certification) (Amendment) Rules, 2025. which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 9 of the Karnataka Compulsory Services by candidates completed Medical Courses Act 2012 (Karnataka Act 26 of 2015) is hereby published as required by sub section (1) of

section 9 of the said Act for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will taken into consideration after seven days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections and Suggestions may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Room No. 105, 1st Floor, Vikas Soudha, Dr.Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru -560001.

DRAFT RULES

1. Title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Compulsory Services by candidates completed Medical Courses( Counselling, allotment and certification ) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 5.- In Rule 5 of the Karnataka Compulsory Service by candidates completed Medical Courses (Counselling, allotment and certification ) Rules, 2015 (herein after referred to as the said rules) in sub rule (3A), in clause (iv), after the words “compulsory service” the words “or not selected any vacancy” shall be inserted; and after the words “in the location” the words “suo moto” shall be inserted.

3. Amendment of rule 7.- In rule 7 of the said rules-

(a) in sub rule (3) after the words “through counselling” the words “as per section 3A” shall be inserted; and

(b) in Sub rule (5) clause (b) shall be omitted.
